Maru Na Bhajia

A very famous and mouth watering dish for you to try and to entertain your family & friends, all the way from East Africa.

Things You Need For Bhajia:

5 to 6 Medium Potatoes peeled and thinly sliced.
4 teaspoon grated ginger
4 teaspoon grated garlic
Crushed Green Chillies to taste
½ Cup Finely Chopped Cilantro
1 Cup Gram Flour
Salt to taste
Baking Soda
Oil to fry

Things You Need for the Chutney:

2 Ripe tomatoes
1 Carrot
Green Chillies yo taste
Salt to taste.
To prepare Maruna Bhajia

 

To Prepare Bhajiya's:

Mix the first five ingredients in a bowl thoroughly. Now sprinkle the Gram flour while mixing to create a even coat on the potatoes. Leave it aside for half an hour.

When you are ready to fry the bhajias add salt according to your taste in the mix and a pinch of Baking Soda and mix well. 

Heat the Oil in a deep frying pan and fry the Bhajias till they are golden brown. Remove excess oil by putting them on some paper towels.

To Prepare Chutney:

Take the tomatoes, Carrots and Chillies and grind them in a food processer. Add salt to taste and serve.
