"Gujarati Classes at the Hindu Temple"

HSNEF is  pleased to announce that Mrs. Rashmi Adhyaru will start classes for children to learn conversation in Gujarati. The classed will be for age eight and above.The classes will be held in HSNEF temple on -Sunday at 11.30 to 12.30.twice a month. The classes are open to anyone who is interested in speaking in Gujarati.

Two Groups from Gujarati Samaj Of NEFL wins big in Tampa Fest:

Parul Patel and her two groups " Jacksonville Thunder XVI " and the " Duval Rascals 2011 " took part in the Tampa fest Raas competition on 12th of November 2011. These groups of kids along with the Choreographer have worker hard over the past few years and have many competitions not only in Tampa Fest but also in Orlando Fest. 

For those of you do not know this is a program consisting of different themes & levels of competition from Junior to College Levels (Garba, Raas, Classical, Folk, Bhangra, Fusion and Voice of Florida). There are groups that come to participate from as far as Georgia & Alabama.

Age- 15 to 17 years

Participants:  Shridhi Desai, Sonia Jobanputra, Rohan Mathur, Parth Modi, Kiran Pandit, Anishaa Patel, Breejal Patel, Brij Patel, Kishan Patel, Meet Patel, Payal Patel, Suraj Patel, Yesha Patel, Yuvraj Shah, Harshil Thakkar, Mili Thakkar.

This year they have once again won the first prize in all three categories ( Choreography, Performance & Outfit)
